I’ve called Jefferson City and the surrounding areas home for over 30 years. It’s where I’ve raised my family, walked forest trails, watched my grandchildren grow, and let my creativity root more deeply into the land and light around me.
My work is a reflection of all the things I hold dear, nature, healing, stillness, and beauty that’s felt more than posed.
I weave my love for photography with my path as an herbalist and energy healer. Each of these lenses, visual, intuitive, and natural, shape how I see the world and connect with the people I photograph.
My love for photography awakened in the 70's, after I received a Kodak Instamatic 126 film camera as a gift.
I spent hours wandering through woods and pastures, captivated by light, shadows, and the magic of life - the tree frog clinging to the tree bark, tiny mushrooms growing beneath leaves, the way sunbeams broke through clouds.
The world was a magical place, and I had a way of capturing those moments.
Throughout those early years, I learned how photography was about feeling and connecting with the unseen energy from my subjects.
Whether it's people, animals, nature or inanimate objects, everything has that flow of energy, and to connect with that energy within my subjects, that is where the heart of photography is for me, that magic.
Over the years, I’ve come to adore lifestyle photography, those real, in-between moments where nothing is forced and everything just is.
The silly faces. The tearful pauses. The hair-out-of-place, heart-wide-open kind of moments.
No need for perfect poses, just the truth of you, gently held.

My Philosophy
Photography is a sacred pause, a quiet honoring of what’s real, fleeting, and beautiful.
I believe
The ordinary becomes extraordinary when seen with presence.
We remember through feeling, not just seeing.
Children should be allowed to just be, messy, curious, joyful, wild.
A relaxed, open-hearted session creates the most meaningful images.
Beauty lives in imperfection, windblown hair, real emotion, bare authenticity.

I’m a proud grandma (and mom!) my family is my heart.
I walk barefoot often, it’s how I connect to the earth.
I believe tea is best brewed slowly and sipped in silence.
I’m a practicing herbalist and energy healer, nature is my compass.
Sunlight filtering through trees still gives me goosebumps.
I love quiet mornings, handwritten letters, and soft stories.
This work is deeply intuitive for me. I don’t just take pictures, I feel into the energy of the moment.
Each session is a co-creation. I’ll guide you gently when needed, but mostly I’ll hold space, for connection, emotion, and natural unfolding.
